The Elder Futhark Runes are the oldest form of the runic alphabet, having been order developed by the ancient Norse and Germanic tribes. These runes served 3 purposes: a traditional alphabet system for communication, a representative of issues of hearth and home, and a more carried tradition of spiritual significance in divination and rune binding. Traditionally, a person would make their own rune set out of wood or rock and carve each rune by hand to imbue their own intuition, intention, and energy into each rune. In modern days, this is not always feasible, so we turn to artisans for help in creating these tools.
