SOFT wool hat. Hand knit in super soft black and white yarn.
Two sizes available, both in a thick warm winter wool beanie with tassel. Intertwined with ribbons throughout. About 99% wool and did I mention that it is amazingly soft and comfortable? Because it is. Black, white and gray. Some people, depending on head size, might find this hat very slightly slouchy. Hand wash gently in cold water and mild detergent; air dry flat. That pretty well covers it, except for one very important matter: size.
CHOOSE FROM TWO SIZES, already made and ready to ship:
Extra small to small which will fit women's smaller heads, as well as most school age children's ....or medium/large adult heads.
PLEASE READ THIS INFO ABOUT SIZE: There's a size chart in the photos. Please measure your head to avoid disappointment. If you don't have a tape measure, you can use a piece of string and compare it to a ruler. If you don't have those, take an 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of printer paper and order cut a couple of 1-inch strips from the long side, tape them together at one end without any overlap--resulting in a 22" (55.88 cm) long strip of paper--and wrap it around your head at eyebrow level while looking in a mirror. If the paper fits fairly closely without much gap or overlap, you're a medium and most of our hats WILL fit a medium, signified by the letter M in the headline. If there's a 1/2" gap in the paper tape you are using to measure your head, you need a size Large. If there's a 1" gap, you need an XL. If the paper overlaps 1/2", you need a Small. If it overlaps more than that, you need XS. Having said all of that, all of our hats are multi-size so there's room for some leeway. You can search our listings by size...once you know your size. WHY MEASURE YOUR HEAD? Well, ever since we began systematically measuring our hats and putting a size range in each hat listing, no one has been disappointed. So we're going to keep measuring the hats and keep asking you to measure your noggin.
