1960's or 1970's adorable reddish orange wool felt bucket hat by Iconic designer Frank Olive. Adorned with a green grosgrain ribbon culminating in a bow with a gold ring at the back. Label reads "Frank's Girl, Designed by Frank Olive New York".
Frank Olive started making hats in the late 40's or early 50's and opened his first small boutique in the early 50's and in 1971, he opened a larger boutique on the west side of New York. His hats were "often insprired by men's wear with confidently feminine details. They tended to have clean, chic lines and simple details in the best of materials."
The front of the brim order could be worn turned up or down, whatever you prefer.
No size is given, but the interior circumference is 20 inches.
No moth holes, rips, tears, or stains. Grosgrain ribbon is fraying at the edges of the bow as shown in last two photos.
