Pro-Line 4 Light Photo Flood Bar-Lite, Vintage Home Movie Photo Flood order Bar Light

Have you ever seen old home movies where everyone in the picture is trying to shield themselves from being fried by ridiculously bright lights? A photo floodlight set like this is the culprit. Home movie cameras and film needed lots of light to get a decent exposure, so people would hook up these flood light sets, blasting out 1200 watts of face-melting supernova light.

This set is a Pro-line brand, with 4 GE lamps, model BEP, which are 300 watts each. It comes in a leatherette covered carrying case, with the original cardboard box. It was salvaged from a camera shop, probably never used. It was made by Acme-lite of Chicago, probably in the 1960's.

NOTICE:
These light are extremely bright and very, very hot. USE WITH CAUTION.

CONDITION:
The leatherette on the carrying case is wrinkled, as visible in the photos, and there are some stains and scuffs as well. The cord and light fixture are in great shape, and the bulbs have only been used for as long as it took to get these picture. (The bulbs are rated to have a total life of 4 hours)
