1940s evening gown with black lace, AS IS order

An 1940s evening gown made from a soft rayon lace and rayon voile with an acetate lining.

There are buttons to fasten at the side of the waist.

The skirt is very full, and order there are lace bows on the front.

This piece is being sold as is, but it is very wearable.

The seams are open at the shoulders, but the lace is fine, it just needs some stitches.

There is a repair in the voile at the front which has been machine stitched, abs the fabric has separated along one of the stitch lined.

There is a s a white tide line on the front of the skirt and some grubby marks in the hem.

There is a separation from the bonding where the straps meet the bodice lining.

Held to the light there are some little pinholes scattered around ajd some small seam separations.

The dress presents well and once the shoulders are stitched you could wear as is.
