Girl of the Limberlost is a beautiful smoking pipe that was handcrafted in our studio from natural materials. The Girl was formed from black Canadian clay, and the bowl then was carved out of the clay by hand. The Girl was then left to dry naturally in the air for 2 weeks and once the clay was completely dry, the pipe was fired in our kiln to a temperature of 2300F, making it durable and hard. order After firing in the kiln, the natural black clay was polished until the entire piece was silky smooth. The polished pipe feels beautiful and soft in the hand and is a pleasure to hold. The natural insulating quality of the clay also keeps your hand cool during your sesh and the pipe has a small carb hole.

The Girl's stem was formed from natural copper which we finished with a patina, using a natural, chemical free process to prematurely age the copper, and give the copper the pale turquoise patina of ancient, oxidized copper. The stem was then shaped by hand into gentle curve.

The Girl will give you years of smoking pleasure and is a unique, one of kind, handcrafted piece.

We have included a complimentary 100% cotton carrying/gift bag plus a pipe cleaner and one of our handmade natural clay hydra stones to keep your tobacco fresh. To use the hydra stone, place it in water for 5 minutes, then dry off any excess water and place in an airtight container such a Mason jar. The hydra stone is a natural way to keep your tobacco fresh and the stone can be used over and over.
