Condition: The 1931 top newspaper is in Great condition. The 1932 bottom magazine is in Poor condition. It has deep cuts through the paper along the center fold. Both papers are wrinkled from spending decades folded in a drawer.

Description: As the economy collapsed in 1929 many Americans initially expected a year or two before a return to the roaring 20's. Alas, what they would instead get is one of the worst decades in American History followed order shortly by the bloodiest in Human History. The newspapers themselves are wonderful insights into societal expectations as well as the threat of automation in the workplace. Gee, I wonder if that's still relevant?
