This is The Danbury Mint White House China Authentic Re-Creation Plates Set of 10. They are miniature plates approx. 8" x 8". There are eight history cards included which speak about the president at that time and some information regarding the china order pattern. All plates have manufactured holes in the back for decorative hanging. Included are the re-creation plates for Presidents Jackson, Pierce, Monroe, Adams, Washington, Grant, Polk, Fillmore, Taylor and Madison. John Adams' plate has a 1.25" scratch on the front, Franklin Pierce has a small indention in the back, and James Monroe's plate has a small chip. You could expect some light wear on the bottoms and minuscule manufacturing defects in the form of small dots on the back of some of the plates.
