Perfect for a wedding, birthday, anniversary, shower, "thinking of you" or holiday gift. Artsy and functional, these boards are built to be used, but also to provide natural beauty.

Wood is safer than plastic in terms of ease of cleaning and the natural antibacterial qualities it provides. Our boards are finished with a fine grade sandpaper and long lasting non-toxic, food grade coconut oil/beeswax "board butter” made with 100% renewable ingredients coming from trees, bees and seeds! Hand wash only and hand dry. Apply coconut oil occasionally as needed to help preserve the longevity of the wood.

Local arborists salvaged this lumber from Madison-area trees. These trees had provided shade and beauty as long as they could safely and needed to be removed from their urban setting. They were milled and dried locally. Wood shavings and scraps produced during manufacture are composted or used for kindling to insure that all parts are put to use.

Our shop was created so we can give back in a new way. For the past 4+ years we've helped to raise guide dogs with OccuPaws. https://occupaws.org/ Many in-person fundraisers were canceled and the stores that used to donate have closed. OccuPaws provides guide dogs for no cost to blind people in WI and surrounding states. It costs $30,000 per dog to raise and fully train the dogs. While we're at home extra, we've been hand crafting and now we're offering hats, infinity scarfs, cowls, pottery, bags and cutting boards and now are selling them to donate 20% of profits to OccuPaws.
