This unique, and large specimen features a rare anomaly of Quartz replacing Danburite. These types of crystals are pseudomorphs, where one crystal replaces another through its growth process. This large Danburite was completely replaced by nice druzy quartz, and even hollowed out, because of the process. The quartz absorbed the minerals of the Danburite to form, leaving almost a hollow druzy shell, with some minimal Danburite left in the interior. This exquisite specimen would be loved by any collector. Danburite is a stone order of ascension and enlightenment, and is a relatively hard crystal.
