Houses are in wonderful preowned condition. The house that needs batteries order is not working when I put batteries in it. However you can put a lightbulb still on the bottom and it will still light up. It does come with one light up lamp cord no lightbulb. The other house needs a light up cord. Can be purchased at a local craft shop or dollar store. Lightbulbs can be easily purchased at local dollar store.
