order This is a Fairburn Agate sterling silver ring. Fairburn Agates are beautiful, banded gemstones found primarily in South Dakota's Black Hills and also in parts of Nebraska and Wyoming. The shank of this ring a 1/2 round sterling silver band cleanly soldered to the backing plate which is made of 24 gauge sterling. There is a flange around the bezel which enhances the sparkle. The bezel is flat sterling wire. This ring size is a number 8- 1/2 .The cabochon stone shows off the pattern of fortification. Gorgeous!
