A beautiful vintage collector plate dated 1983 by artist "Chokin" is a limited edition Samurai Fighting Tiger 12 in. collector plate. Plate No. 3827 This limited edition design (7,500) was created by the renowned Japanese artist YOSHINOBU HARA which has been carving his masterpieces for 40 years and studied under the legendary master, Risho Arita. The images are created by etching pure copper and ten gilding it with silver and gold. This form of art was handed down from generations for order over 800 years.  Excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks. Back of plate has a small spot which appears to be some kind of adhesive.
