I love these stunning, detailed earrings! So exotic looking. These are an ornate pair of vintage, old silver (80 - 95% silver) Jumka bell earrings from the Kashmir Pakistan area. I adore the tiny detailing that these have! These bohemian beauties consists of multiple elements creating this exotic pair of earrings. Embossed flower shaped pieces hold red glass centers. The bells have an ornate, detailed tiny pattern with a pierced edge. The bell shaped has tiny dangling trim. The little dangles also hang from the flower section. The silver has been softly aged with years of wear. Fabulous pair of statement earrings for those of you who prefer to be unique!
Old Silver - The Afghan / Pakistan old silver pieces that I carry are between 80 - 95% silver. These are higher quality pieces and their aged silver patina color is fabulous. This is one of several old nomadic silver pieces that I have listed, so please check those out also! These are at least 50 years old.
This earrings is a little bit thicker than normal at 1.65 mm. Should you want a different ear wire, you can to convert them by closing the current ear wire to form a loop and adding a modern ear wire.
Jumka / Jhumka / Jhumki Earrings - This style dates back to ancient times. Jumka refers to the traditional bell shaped earrings design from India. This design has been popular in many tribal areas. Dangling elements from the dome shape creates a fringe.

Please keep in mind that most Kuchi and Turkoman / Turkmen / Turkomen items are old and used items with a distinct aged patina. They are a nomadic Afghan people who have created amazing jewelry for centuries. Their colorful jewelry combines new, old, order metal, beads, coins, stones and fabric. Many pieces are worn due to being used from every day wear, tribal celebrations, belly dance and wedding uses. They are made with a coin-base metal alloy.
Please examine enlarged photos for details. Much more beautiful in real life. I lightly polish my vintage jewelry and silver as some people like the aged patina. I am not an expert on vintage jewelry, but I do buy and sell what I love! Since these items are vintage, they may have a wonderful aged patina and are not meant or expected to look brand new. I treasure their imperfections as part of their charm and history.
