Butterfly Hunting

A back-to-back mixed media art collage. Both sides can be displayed. Made with a 1960s Japan (stamp in front, under glass) and Rwandan postage stamp (small handcut butterfly in the niche en verso), and 1924 large handcut butterfly images from Switzerland. This piece of art is embellished with Swarovski crystals, cherry blossoms, ribbon, and PaperPhine paper twine. The side panels are covered with art paper, too. Because this collage is mounted on a .75-inch wood panel, it can easily stand on a table or shelf.
