Pink Chocolate Brim with order Feathers

This Pink Chocolate Brim with Feathers is unique for this design. The pattern was created by my favorite vintage hat designer, Sally Victor. I have been collecting her patterns over the last few years to be able to add my take using distinctive fabric and embellishments.

This polyester fabric reminds me of a French ribbon in pink and brown. The brim can shade a bit of sun, but mostly adds allure and mystery. It is embellished with creamy white goose and marabou feathers and a fabric flower made with the same fabric. I lined it with a dusty pink silky polyester satin.

The hat size is 22 inches. (How to measure your head for a hat link: http://www.ulster.ac.uk/academicservices/student/hatsizing.pdf ) The fabric can easily be shaped to personalize how it sits on one's head. Each item I make is unique for the particular pattern and fabric used. All fabric has been pre-washed before sewing. To clean, remove or take especial care with feathers and buttons. Hand wash using cold water and a mild detergent. Line dry order. (Shake faux fur out as it dries to fluff out the "fur'.) DO NOT PUT IN DRYER.
