●Fork and knife both marked “Stainless”, though no maker's marks on either
●Carving knife has a secondary blade on top edge
●Both have collar rests or finger guards
●Simple, elegant reed and floral design with blank central panel
●Circa 1940s 1950s
●Fork measures 10.75” long
●Knife measures 13” long
●Set weighs 12 ozs.
●Vintage silverplate carving set in good condition with heavy surface wear and aged patina.  Knife has a fairly large nick in the blade–needs a bit of tlc and sharpening.  Sturdy set.  Fancy 2-piece silverplate carving set features a simple reed and floral pattern and dates to the 1940s or 1950s.
