Shawl in purples, angora, order wool, hand crocheted

This shawl is crocheted by hand in variegated shades of purple, mauve, white and pale blue. The photos show up slightly more blue than the actual colours which are predominately purples.

I used a lightweight yarn that is 20% angora, 20% wool and 60% premium order acrylic. This makes it cosy and soft yet very light. It weighs just 150 grams!

The shawl measures 62" across and 29" from the center top to the point.

Hand wash only. I recommend using a rinse-free wool wash such as Eucalan or Soak. Do not wring, but gently squeeze excess water out in a towel. Lay flat, pinning to shape if necessary, and leave until thoroughly dry.
