Vintage Elgin Guilloche Enamel Double Compact
The photos do not do justice to showing the true beauty of this Vintage Elgin American Double Compact. It has a teardrop shape. The satin order, velvety, brushed gold tone ground is gorgeous.
A cream guilloche enamel plaque with a single hand painted pink flower is featured on the lid.
The interior has shiny gold tone finish. The mirror in the top has the original label intact.
The bottom top has a lidded hinged rouge pot and a “V” shape lidded loosed powder well. Original rouge and powder are still present.
The original powder puff is still intact that reads; American Elgin.
It measures; 3 1/4 inches high x 2 1/2 inches wide.
This piece was purchased at an estate sale of someone that collected antique and vintage compacts. It is in excellent vintage condition and has many more years of love to give.
