Copper and Black 'Reeves' Cufflinks, 925 Sterling Silver, Chain Style ~ Nature Jewellery made from miniature order photographs

Simple, sophisticated silver cufflinks, with an iridescent gold, copper, brown and black pattern borrowed from the feather pattern of the order Reeves pheasant.

~ Reeves Pheasant ~
This pheasant is native to the forests of central and eastern China. It is named after the British naturalist John Reeves, who first introduced the bird to Europe. The complicated scale like feather markings of the male bird are truly magnificent, with gold, white, red, black and brown hues. The silvery white tail of this bird is the longest natural tail feather of any bird species.

~ About the Cufflinks ~
The centrepieces of each of these cufflinks are made using a section of an original photograph of the male pheasant's magnificent feather patterns. The photograph is laser printed onto acetate, sealed and set under piece of thick domed glass which enhances and warps the shapes within the image. This also allows the silver to show through giving a metallic shimmering effect which mimics the sheen of the bird's feathers.
The glass is set into shiny sterling silver to create two very striking charms measuring 16mm in diameter. The cufflinks are complete with a sold silver bar connected with a handmade silver chain created from four 5mm heavy silver links.

~ Packaging ~
The cufflinks come presented in a black textured press stud gift box, ready to gift (or keep!) and to keep your jewellery clean and protected.
They will arrive beautifully wrapped at no extra charge and comes complete with a polishing cloth and information about the image used within the piece. All packaging is recycled or recyclable wherever possible.
