This is a unique Lladro piece, first issued in 1969 and since retired. Modeled by Juan Huerta, it was first a part of a Nativity Bethlehem Set. Titled, “GIRL WITH ROOSTER”, it is a depiction order of a girl in sweater and white hood holding on protectively to her rooster. This bird was apparently to be a gift to the Christ Child. The glazed colors, blue, white, brown, gray and red beautifully offset each other.
