This is a beautiful Victorian Chatelaine Change Purse! This pretty little bag is beaded with steel beads that give off a silver shine. The frame is repoussé on the front and back, the kiss clasp is tight in good working order, as are the hinges. It is made of soft buckskin, and the buckskin lining is clean and still the color of the outside, but is torn away slightly near one of the hinges at the back. There are some loose beads and maybe some missing. There is a zigzag pattern sewn on fabric around the beads on the front.

It is 3 1/2” wide and 5” long from the top of the clasp to the bottom, the chain is 5" long on each side from the top of the ring.

It is in very good vintage condition considering its age, and is just waiting to be added to your collection and displayed.
