Antique utensil drainer/Tin kitchen drainer/Love order heart utensil holder/Planter/Spoon tidy/Wall hanging plant pot/Spoon collection container

This is a wonderfully decorated, antique tin container, originally intended to drain freshly washed utensils. Delightfully decorated by hand with a love heart, dots and daisy like flowers, it may well have been given a a gift to a young wife (People were romantic but practical back then)! It would hang on a nail or hook and the lightly order pierced bottom allowed the water to drain out. It very likely hung in the fireplace, as tin is not best friends with water for prolonged periods! It could be used as a planter with another container inside it though. A lovely way to display a collection of kitchen tools or spoons, as a desk tidy, keeping garden string in, the uses are plentiful and it is just lovely to look at.

In good antique condition with a few splits in the bottom rim and a few small dents/creases. The inside is rusty but sound. Please see the photographs for a better idea.
