Original Antique Edwardian Large Solid Silver Pocket Shaped Vesta Case/Matchsafe Hallmark Birmingham 1913 By James Wood & Sons Initials KWH.
A good quality Edwardian solid silver Vesta case or match safe the body has striped engraved decoration and a round cartouche with the engraved initials KWH the Vesta is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1913 and has the maker mark for James Woods & Son.
The vesta has a small ding on the top right-hand side of the lid please see the second photo and a pinhead size ding order on the back which is hard to see.
The Vesta measures 2 and a 1/4 inches wide including the chain loop x just under 2 inches tall and weighs 39.6 grams.
