Summer Nocturne- hand printed order atmospheric etching/ engraving/ wall art of a hare in a landscape, black ink on paper

This work is a glimpse into the secret world of magic and mystery that animals inhabit and we rarely see. It is done in mezzotint which involves roughening the plate so that it prints black and then scraping and order burnishing back to reveal all the different tones up to white. It is dynamically cropped to show the movement of the dancing hare illuminated by a mysterious light shining through the trees.
