Upcycled blue jean denim cut off shorts with patches. The material for the patchwork is mainly vintage material from my quilting days for boho hippie style clothing. 100% cotton., Levi 527 brand 14 regular in girl sizes. The patches are left to be even more frayed with wash and wear.

Measurements (unstretched) are:
the waist/hip is 27"
from the top of the jeans to the inseam is 9"
the inseam is 2"
from the waistband to the bottom on the sides are 12"

Pant rise is important because it determines where your pants sit on your body, which in turn creates your perceived waistline. I would start with the inseam and measure up to figure out exactly where the top of the jean will sit, then measure around that spot so you'll know where exactly these jeans will sit on you. With jeans you really need to go by measurements due to jean companies have a different idea of what a size jean is, especially when you are looking at vintage jeans. These order are pre-owned jeans I washed them before and after I worked on them. I quilted back in the 80s and had and still have an ample supply of mainly cotton vintage material. This is why my patched jeans are so unique.
