Patinated order copper earrings

These gorgeous copper earrings have been treated to bring out a fantastic teal blue patina, then coated in resin to preserve that patina. The resin deepened the color beautifully, creating colors that evoke the sea.

Copper can develop a stunning blue-green patina called verdigris. The Statue of Liberty's order fantastic color is from a verdigris patina, as are the roofs of Belvedere Palace in Vienna and the Rotunda of the University of Virginia in the US and many many more. These earrings have the same patina applied.
