I saw this box and just wanted to turn it into a Christmas box. I'm in the holiday spirit these days!! I painted her a white chalky paint inside and out. I highlighted her little indented drawers in a red and repainted the handles in a silver to give her a Christmas appeal. I distressed her until I was happy with the character it gave her. I then waxed and buffed her to protect her new beauty. I decoupaged a couple adorable Christmas donkeys on each side of this box and a red harlequin print on top. I just love the way this box turned out!! All my boxes are vintage and as such might have slight imperfections here and there. This box opens from the top for ring storage and lots of little compartments for extra storage of earrings and such. There are 2 more decent size drawers in the bottom for any additional storage. She measures 7” tall by 9” wide and has a depth of 5 order 1/2”. This would make a beautiful statement to any year long Christmas fan's dresser or nightstand!!.
