This is a smaller version of other handwoven textile artworks that are available throughout my shop, it is just a bit smaller. As you can see, within this piece, there is a new addition to the Woven By Laurence handwoven artworks. These new pieces feature handmade braids in a variety of absolutely gorgeous yarns, adding detail, texture and pattern to the textile art. This piece is inspired by the Wigeon, a waterfowl bird tha calls the U.K its home for the winter. This handwoven piece also features gorgeous cotton yarns that are sourced from a local supplier within the UK.

Each piece of art is an experience and you will be provided with a link to a blog post that shows you the inspiration behind the piece.

Handwoven on a rigid heddle loom using cotton, acrylic and wool.

Some of the yarns in this piece are from an independent business called Peak & Pine - also on Etsy.

Piece is framed in a black frame and card mount. This can be moved into any standard 8x10 inch frame.

Piece of art will be provided without glass, to really accentuate the textures. Care card will be included

Can only be placed on a surface/shelft
