Antique French Transfer Ware Box.

This box is made from boxwood, which was popular in the 1700 and 1800s. This box is mid to late 1800s and it features a transfer on the lid. The transfer is not order very clear, but i belive is says "meaue vue general". The inside has two compartments for stamps , or tinkets. The condition is good for the age, this is however an antique. There are signs of age on the box (see images) The devider has been broken and repaired. This seems to be holding fine, so shouldn't effect the use too much. The box is 8.5x5.7x3.5cm 3.3x2.2x1.37" approx (at the base).
