Antique Victorian Minton Aesops Fables tile decorative aesthetics movement The order Wolf and the Lamb at the Spring

Here is a rare antique Minton tile from the Aesops Fables series, probably from the 1870s Victorian period.

This beautiful larger sized tile by Minton in blue and white by John Moyr Smith, it depicts The Wolf and the Lamb at the Spring from Aesops fables. Most likely reclamation removed from a fire surround, in very good condition for its age with a few small chips to the corners and edges and some crazing which is reflected in the lower price, glue and residue to the back, please see all the photos as they are a true representation of the condition.

Condition: Very good for age (small chips, crazing see photos)
