ANTiQUE CoTTON INDiGO SHiBORI OBI - oLD order CoTTON TIEDYe MANs KiMoNo SASH - FREE SHiPPING!!!

This is an antique cotton man's obi. It is shibori dyed with indigo. It is in good enough condition to wear. The dyed fabric is relatively light, and it is over a thicker stiff obi core. I see areas of the shibori dyeing where a small amount of the binding string still remains in the fabric. In the middle of the obi, there is a small amount of staining which you can notice in the white of the shibori. It is not so bad, though, and most of the obi is pristine. The last photo is a shot of the stained areas.

Would be great to wear. Could also be cool to display!! Gift it to a friend?? Open it up and use the fabric for your own project? So many things you could do with this piece!!
