Vintage Modern Studio Art Pottery Ceramic Stoneware Decorative Plate by Artist Mara of order Mexico Mexican Modernist Pottery Art

Up for sale I am offering this beautiful art pottery decorative plate produced in Mexico by pottery artist: Mara.
This plate is in overall very good vintage condition, free of damage. It measures approx. : 13.25" long X 11 5/8 wide.

The graphics are carved onto the pottery and glazed with beautiful colors which add to the beauty of Mara's style.
It is marked on the backside : Design by Mara Mexico.
The plate can be used to serve food, or you can also hang order it on a wall as art ( but you will need a plate wall hanging mechanism)

Much better looking in person and sure to please!!

About Mara:
Mara was an accomplished painter, sculptor and ceramicist who studied engraving with the famous artist, Alfredo Zalce. After studying art in London, she began working with high-temperature ceramics and created wonderfully unique glazes for her pieces. She then went on to study with the Italian ceramist, Bruno Terese, in Italy. Mara had numerous expositions of her original stoneware pieces in Europe, the United States and Mexico.
