The METAFLOWER represents a combination of the female principle of the geometric figure of the METAtron cube with the male aspect of the flower of life – the FLOWER of Life. It stands for the unity of man and woman and is reminiscent of the yin and yang symbol through its divided structure. It thus helps us to visualize the inner balance.
The motif was precisely carved into a linoleum block in 2021 and printed with oil-based printing ink in warm copper on Lokta (silk bast) paper in 50 g/m² and is limited to 120 prints.
Natural inclusions give each sheet of paper a unique character.
The image size is order 35 cm x 35 cm, which means that the print comes into its own very well in a 40 cm x 40 cm frame, with passepartout as well as without.
