Adorable Vintage Josef Originals Christmas Music Box Boy Wearing Santa's order Suit Too Big Singing and Playing Ukulele Bag of Gifts Holly Snow

Whimsical and fun, this Christmas music box features the cutest little boy in a grown-up's Santa outfit. After all, if Santa won't come, someone has to do the job!! Here, in red and white hat, his real fur beard resting on his chin and in sagging clothes (the belt to his knees and the sleeves bunched to his elbows), he plays his little ukulele and sings, "Jingle Bells", as if the old man may just appear after all to take his rightful place! I love the innocent joy on the boy's face. His black eyes are so sweet as he gazes toward the sky, singing his very best. His delicate black eyebrows are arched high on his forehead. His little button nose sits perfectly above his red lips, opened into the widest oval as he sings his little heart out. The curls of his brunette hair around the hat's white brim brings a nice contrast to all of the red and white. He is adorable through and through. Upon the snow covered base, there lays a green bag fastened together with sprigs of holly leaves and berries. It is not very full, I note. Well, that is not the main point of Christmas anyway!! Isn't it the unselfish gift of love that matters the most? Money can't buy that and no bag could contain it! A fun piece for your holiday decor.

Body Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No cracks or chips of note. Lovely, bright color and gloss finish order. Writing on rotating base may or may not come off (see photo). "Japan" foil tag has a little crimp from original placement (see photo). "Josef Originals" foil tag is in wonderful condition (see photo). Music box DOES NOT WORK. The gentleman I normally have look at this is in a move, and so I cannot be sure that it cannot be repaired. I believe it plays, "Jingle Bells".
