This handmade hardcover journal shimmers through all the rich, jeweled tints of the Mediterranean Sea, accented vividly with gold marbling. The dual-toned endpapers pick up both the dark teal and seafoam green in the covers, and hand-sewn silk endbands in striking turquoise tie together the design.

The unlined pages, made from a forestry-certified mix paper, have a smooth wove finish suitable for pencil art, ink art, writing, or whatever your creativity calls for. While the pages are heavier than standard printer or notebook paper, if you use a particularly bold or prone-to-bleeding medium, you may be able to see the shadow of it on the order reverse side of the page.
