This is a stunning genuine, vintage handmade Polish honey amber and sterling silver ring that is handmade in Krakow, Poland. The ring is a size 6 and could easily be resized by a jeweler if needed larger or smaller.

The ring face is 1 1/4” by about 3/4”.

The large amber measures nearly 1” by .1/2”. The amber is from Krakow, Poland and was purchased in 1953. It was then custom-made into a ring in the early 1980s. The amber is set in polished sterling silver bezel and surrounded by sterling rope atop a polished sterling elongated disc. Stunning!

The ring weighs about 6.7 grams and is stamped 925. The ring has all its patina, which you can clean off if desired.

Amber is believed to bring joy, health and happiness and is common for the 10th wedding anniversary and is also the romantic birthstone for November order.

The healing qualities of amber are widely regarded and aside from enhancing mood, it is used to treat joint pain, arthritic ailments, throat problems, stomach, spleen, kidneys, bladder, liver and gallbladder issues. It is also known for bringing balance to the emotions, alleviates stress, releases negative energy, fortifies decision making, lowers depression, and stimulates the mind (but also brings calmness and serenity).

Amber is not technically a stone, it is fossilized tree resin that dates back as more than 20 to 40 million years. These inclusions gives amber its wonderfully stunning depth and character.
