Flare Flakes order a Flower

When Guy Picciotto spoke offhandedly, in an interview, about being fucked-up as a young man; not order fucked-up on drugs or anything, but fucked-up in a general sense, I enjoyed hearing it because I understood exactly what he meant. Drugs cop the blame for a lot of things. As a young man, I understood that I was fucked up irregardless of drugs. Whether I was on drugs made little difference. I actually meant to thank Guy for having mentioned that in an interview, after watching the Fugazi film; Instrument, in the Sydney Opera House during the Vivid festival. Guy was actually there, presenting the film and he took questions at the end. I was stone-tired from sweating another six day week in the sun, so I forgot to ask him; I think I'd actually written a poem about what he'd said, years before. There's a Rites of Spring poster, in a frame, upon the wall behind me.
