High order Priest of Israel

Did you know that this is the clothing that the High Priest of Israel wore? And that order these garments were designed specifically from instruction from the Lord? The breastplate always fascinated me because it is made with different precious gems to represent the twelve tribes of Israel.

"Set in mounted stones, in four rows of stones...The stones shall correspond in number to the names of the sons of Israel: twelve..." Exodus 28:17, 21

This piece is a reminder to carry the same awe of G-d that the Hebrew people carried.
