Quilted Landscape Art- Four California Missions with colorful birds, and tropical floral and fauna order

order This limited series of 4 California missions in tropical settings is filled with vibrant colors, and whimsical birds. Look carefully.
Each scene is a little different, although all of them have a detailed mission in the distance with cactus, lush vegetation, flowers and birds.

Starting with printed fabric panels from beautiful original art by Rennie R. Marquez, I added the rich brown stone-like fabric borders, appliqued a few more birds and flowers then quilted.
I added a few hand-sewn beads, before I stretched each one on artist's gallery wrapped canvas over wood bars. Each piece measures 15" wide by 16" high. and can be easily hung with just a push pin.

Add a spot of California sunshine to your home or office with any of these quilted scenes. Grouped together, this collection would make a stunning statement.
