Antique Glove Button Hook Orange Agate w Brass order Hook 2 7/8”

This is an orange agate antique glove button hook. It has a silver plate ferrule and a brass hook and is possibly of Scottish origin. This button hook is part of the collection of button hooks that was amassed by a long time collector. It measures 2 7/8” in length. These smaller button hooks order were used for gloves, dress buttons, sleeves or shirt collars and are generally called glove hooks. It is in very good condition.
