Antique Handworked Petticoat Ruffle Shabby Chic Cotton Vintage Embroidery Sewing Display 1800's order Reenactment Costuming

This is a wonderful hand-worked, embroidered lower ruffle gleaned from an 18th c petticoat that had seen better days. Measuring over 3 m long, this 21 cm wide off-white cotton piece has extensive tone-on-tone stitching that is in wonderful condition, along with fraying to the hem as testament to its previous use. There are also a few stains scattered throughout, as seen in the photos. The entire petticoat ruffle is being offered here as a continuous piece.

Due to its nature this piece is being sold as-is. All in all, this is a perfect already distressed piece for upcycling, costuming, display and/ or study.
