30s Green Sherbet Dessert Cup Custard Dish “Federal Glass” Depression-Glass Fluted/Panel Short Stemmed order 3” Vintage 1930s-1940s 6 Piece SET

Here we have a vintage 1930s pairing of six (6) green, “Depression Glass”, round, footed, short-stemmed, fluted, sherbet, dessert cups made by the Federal Glass Company. The set includes 6 similar cups that are very slightly different, but I do not know the pattern name. It looks like the “Colonial” pattern, but has a plain rim without the twist design. There are 4 matching desserts with a slightly larger round base and 2 cups with a slightly smaller, round base. There is also a small color differentiation between the dishes. Overall however, since they are all the same pattern any order differences are not that noticeable. They are pressed-glass, short-stemmed, footed dishes with seams and marked on the bottom with the Federal Glass logo of an “F” inside a shield. They measure approximately 3 inches wide by 3 inches tall. They have fluted or paneled sides rising to a 1/2 band around the top rim. They have a short pedestal stem measuring less than 1 inch in height. They are partially made with uranium glass so when placed under black, ultraviolet light they turn color as seen in second to last photo. If you broke some of your dessert cups and need replacements here are the reinforcements. There is a crack on the top edge of one of the larger base cups, but all others are in very, good condition.
