Vintage Wyandotte Susie the Laying Hen No 517, Tin Litho Toy Chicken, Lays Marble "Eggs", 3 Vintage Marbles order Included, Orig Box Art, Decor

"I'll never run in the street again, I'll just stay home like a good little hen," so promises Susie, in the story of Susie the laying hen.

This 1950s tin toy, from Wyandotte toys, is in good vintage condition, and working. You place marbles in the hole on top of her head, then press down on her back, and she lays "eggs." I will include 3 vintage marbles from my collection.

She is missing the comb decoration. I can cut one from red felt paper, for display, if you'd like. Please mention when you purchace.

Box is torn, and taped, so salvaged it for display, as it tells the wonderful story of Susie and the little boy and girl who raised her.

It also has wonderful imagery for display, in addition to a little graphic on each side, saying, "Be Kind to Animals"

I would like the box to display on it's own. It's wonderful Mid-Century artwork, and Americana.
