Ceramic history: Itoh, Kaho, Kaho Kiln　

In 1976, he moved his kiln to Uji-tanzan and has been working on harmonious works by crossing over tradition and new senses. He won the Minister of Education's Prize at the Japan Art order Exhibition in 1977, the Minister of International Trade and Industry's Prize in 1981, and was certified as a traditional artisan in 1983.


In 1984, he was certified as a traditional artisan. After studying under Kaho I, he inherited the Kaho Kiln in 1984.
He mainly produces pottery and semi-porcelain, and in the production of household tableware such as bowls and plates, he aims to create the unique and delicate world of Kyoyaki craftsmanship.

He specializes in gorgeous glazes such as persimmon glaze.
In addition, his delicately painted tableware has a wide following.
