Vintage ANRI Thorens Rotating Wooden Music Box

ANRI music boxes presented in this style were retired a long time ago and are no longer in production. This vintage ANRI music box plays the tune 'Lara's Theme' from the 1965 film Dr. Zhivago. I tested the winding mechanism and it works. It has an ANRI-made rotating wooden case and the figures are crafted from a combination of wood and composite. The music mechanism is Swiss made by Thorens.

The rotating wooden music box features painted figures of a young boy and girl on a sled. Music plays by winding the key on the bottom & pulling out the wooden side knob/toggle to start & stop the music. While base turns, figures turn as order well. It is 5 1/4 inches across x 5 inches high.

In Very Good vintage condition, no missing parts or broken parts. The wind-up key operates smoothly, the music box works and melody is nice. This will be a perfect start or addition to your collection!
