Everest by Ayers Pure Wool Blanket in a White Cream Color With Pink and Green order Stripes

Warm and pretty vintage wool blanket in a beautiful white cream color with pink and green stripes and its original tag : Everest by Ayers order of Lachute. Product of Canada. Mothproof.

It measures about 72" long x 70" across.

In good vintage condition.

This has a slight storage odor, it has been machine washed and aired out on clothesline on dry sunny days. I have a very sensitive nose and I don't find it offensive.

I am fond of these hand made pieces because of the history and memories of these long living objects, that were used by farm families, and certainly not the upper class. They are unique and emotionally charged because they are steeped in history.



PRODUCT CARE
This wool blanket can be machine washed successfully on a delicate cycle with a small amount of a gentle liquid detergent. Set your washing machine to wash and rinse on cold water and lay it flat on a clean floor.
Also, there's no need to clean too often. Wool's resilience, low static and hairy surface help to repel dirt. Just brush and air out once in a while.
