Fire hose paddle with order poplar handle

Gorgeous fire hose paddle with a poplar handle - as much a piece of art as it is a toy!

This beautiful piece of poplar wood for the handles, was picked up from one of my Edmonton suppliers, at a charming acreage in the Edmonton area. If you can't tell, we are passionate about what we build and how!

The fire hose came from a warehouse in Edmonton, after a one time use it became decommissioned and available for a new life.
Now the hose is starting the burning instead of fighting it!

We finish all of order our products with Osmo Polyx-Oil, a very durable Hardwax-Oil wood coating made from natural vegetable oils and waxes that is both strong enough to protect against water, dirt, and saliva while still being extremely gentle and environmentally friendly. This finish is microporous and will not crack, flake, peel, or blister.
