Our rugs are 100% handmade from start to finish using acrylic wool, cotton twill and felt and can take anywhere from 1 to 100+ hours. Once the design is drawn on, we begin by punching the wool into the cotton using a punch needle technique. Each loop of wool is then carefully adjusted to ensure the design is clean, sharp and readable. For a cut pile rug we shave the top layer of loops to make the design pop out. For a loop pile rug we simply leave the loops as they are for added texture. The rug is then secured with a pva based carpet safe adhesive and then double backed with felt to ensure quality and durability. We finish each rug by carefully securing the edges with hot glue. Then it's a quick lint roll and your new rug will be on its way to you!
