It has one inch of breathable open cell foam covered with fabric top and bottom. Inside, under the top layer of fabric, only below the hips, there are five more layers of pieces cut into arc shapes. See photo of arc pieces. This raises the hips 1/2" more over a cut out cup area where the tailbone is protected somewhat from bruising.

2. Securely attaches to the saddle with four straps and cinching buckles.
3. Straps hold the cantle padding securely in place when mounting.
4. ~18" by 18" by 2" thick. Fits well in 16" to 17" saddles. Smaller or larger call for custom pricing.
5. Inside foam pieces are beveled to conform easily to the saddle shape when strapped on.

The Comfort Curves Western Seat Saver + was designed for people order who have more discomfort in their hips or tailbone to provide more relief. The cup design also provides more relief for the guys. Over the last 18 years I have sold these cushions at horse expos and have listened to people's riding stories and about their aches and pains. I have worked to eliminate sources of pain so the rider can enjoy their ride. We have used several different types of fabric over the years and have chosen those that will survive the wear and tear that riding creates.
